PK (police knowledge) course just over. lasted from monday till wednesday. hmmm. there were so many ppl ard. dunno lah.. i think there was at least 500 ppl? hmmm 40++ schs attended the whole thing. it was held at ahmad ibrahim..
the mood was rather sleepy~ hahaha. we were always looking forward to breaks and lunch. and of course, dismissal.
well, on the 3rd day [last day la] of the course, we took the PK test. hope that all NYNP ppl will get the PK badge!~ =)
the questions were slightly tricky lah.. hahaha
hmmm, today our sqd attended the 1st day of SANA course.. tmr would be the last day (there'll be a test, followed by roleplay)
we were divided into 17 grps. so there are no sqdms which are together. hahaha. then each group is supposed to come up with a short skit..
hmmm, SANA course has less breaks compared to PK course.. hmm, but in some ways SANA was better than PK lah! =)
lunch was not bad.. haaha.
well, i've got to go write the script for our skit tmr~

woohoo we got 6th and 8th placing!! glad that NY shooting team managed to get into the finals!! sqdms and ma'ams.. all the best yah? =)

well.. back from Annual Training Course '04..
hmmm, my last ATC as a cadet.. quite sad that it was a course.. 7.30am till 6pm thing.. I wished it was the normal 3D2N kind of camp. I guess some people don't believe how important ATC is towards NYNP cadets. they got other stuff to adhere to? hmmm..
Yep, I got into Charlie. together with Siewfun. never ever dreamt that I would get into Charlie. hmmm, I knew I wouldn't be back in Delta.. and I guess I wouldn't be in Bravo. I actually didn't expect much lah.. hahha, I actually wanted to, of course, get into Delta. hahha. but nonetheless, Charlie'04 rocked the house! =)

hmmm, during this 3 days for the course, i reckon I got ard 15hrs of sleep for the total of 3 days. slept ard 1.30am on the 1st day, 12am for the 2nd day, ard 2am for the 3rd day. 1st morning i woke up at 5.55am, 2nd day ard 6.15am, 3rd day, 6.30am. hahaha. all the time, weili stayed over at my hse..
1st day we had orienteering, tent pitching, guess-the-murder game, your destiny game.. (wasn't ard during orieteering.. was at pre-SLC facs briefing)
2nd day we had Civil Defence competition (Charlie won 1st!), PT competition, outdoor cooking competition (charlie won 1st!~), chicken feet!!! (outdoor cooking comp and chicken feet, NYST sqdms weren't ard =/ )
3rd day we had cheering competition and ball games.. and sorta like campfire activities in the quadrangle..

anyway. Bravo won best company! Charlie won most spirited company. Alpha won most supportive company and Delta won most creative company..
yep.. after the camp all of us were so tired.. ahahha, we could just fall aslp standing.

I really want to blog about Area NCO course.. But I'm so sleepy. hahah. Shall blog down the basic details first.. Then elaborate later.. hahaha.

Area 15 NCO (Non-commissioned officers) Training Course
4^thJune '04 - 6^thJune '04
Friday - Sunday
Day Course: 0730hrs - 1800hrs
Area15: TCHS, ACS(B), Queensway, Ghim Moh, St. Margarets, NYGH, SJI(didn't come..)

there were 6 groups in total.. Wei Wen and ZuoJin were in Group1, HuiQi and Jaclyn were in Group 2. Cheryl and I was in group3. Xin Yi and Li Ming were in group4, SiewFun was in group5, WeiLi and LiuLu were in group6.
hmm, each group had 2/3 CIs attached to them.. I forgot some groups CI's.. but if I'm not wrong, it went smth like this:
Grp1: Hongyi sir
Grp2: Jay-Jay sir (6 sqdms rate him as fav CI! haha)
Grp3: Karen ma'am(day1 only), Ming Zhou sir & Ta Hoong sir
Grp4: ?
Grp5: Jie Long sir, Yanru ma'am
Grp6: Amanda ma'am, Leong Woon sir
hmmm, couldn't rmb all..

our group rocked~ =) hahaha. the CIs were very nice!! =) the people in the group were quite nice too~ =) hahaha. hmm, our group had twins from TCHS. weird.. i attended 2 area stuff so far (this and ATC'03) and my grp always has a twin inside. (this time, both twins were in the same grp)

Groupmates [hmm, not too sure of the spelling):

on the last day, all grps had a 'present' from their grp CIs.. our group received 2 notes =) hahaha. one from ta hoong sir and one from ming zhou sir.. interesting. hahah =)
hmmm, we has many lectures, then we did arms drill: baton & M16 (day1), campcraft (day2), Advanced Drill: MOI and stuff (day3).
the whole thing was really fun lah. but each day you come back really konked out. hahah. hmmm, we had a PT lecture on the 2nd day, so we had to plan a PT and carry it out. hahaha. quite fun. there were 2 PTIs for our grp, i was one, the other was a TCHS guy. hmmm, i reckon our grp did the most hiong PT. cos according to sqdms, their PT was slack? hahaha.. kena sabo-ed by that TCHS guy in demo-ing jumping jacks..
had games on the 3rd day. we played capt's ball and foozeball (life size). grp3 won all the games played!! =) hmmm, but i didn't play the 2nd game.. quite a lot of sqdms were injured on the 3rd day. jaclyn had fever, so she had to go home. huiqi fell while playing. xinyi, cheryl and i had cramps. hahaha. i had calf cramps on both legs! hahaha
during capt's ball, i felt the cramps coming, but i just played. then suddenly, near the end of the 1st game, my left leg crampped. then it got better, so i played in the 2nd half of the 2nd game. then it started to rain, so we had to look for a venue to continue the games. so i went to check the hall. it wasn't lock so i ran down to tell the CIs. then as i was running near the snack stall, my right leg crampped! hahaha. pretty funny. cos that was where xinyi had cramps. too.
on the 3rd day grp3 had many casualties.. hmmm, there was someone with headache, cheryl and i had cramps. 2 ppl had indigestion.
on the 3rd day, i was grp I/C for the 2nd half of the day. i was quite a flop actually. =|. hmmm..
our grp was really zai! =) hahaha. each day there would be a cadet leader/ asst cadet leader. so there would be 6 leaders. each leader came from a different sch.. cheryl was cadet leader for day1. together with sidney (ACSB) then on the 2nd day was Sham and Sarah (St margs) then on the 3rd day was jingkang (TCHS) and li yan.
hmmm, so i guess i'm going to see these ppl agn during sec3 ATC. hmmm, i guess they know more about each other than sqdms and I know them, because we didn't attend sec2 ATC but they did..
